Eligibility for Foundation Sober Living

 Foundation Sober Living is designed for adults who are ready for a structured,
substance-free sober living residence after treatment. Eligibility is reviewed by
the intake team based on program fit, readiness, current availability, and the
resident’s ability to follow house expectations.

Basic Resident Criteria

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Applicants should be nearing completion of, or have completed, an Intensive Outpatient or Outpatient treatment program within the last 6 months.
  • Residents must be committed to maintaining sobriety in a structured, substance-free home.
  • Residents must complete Foundation Sober Living application paperwork and agree to the house rules and regulations.
  • Residents must have a way to pay residence fees and cost-of-living expenses, such as employment, family support, or suitable government benefits.
  • Residents must be willing to participate in random drug testing.
  • Potential residents must not be classified as sexual or violent offenders.

Resident Expectations

Residents are expected to follow their after-care plan, attend required recovery meetings, participate in weekly house meetings, complete assigned chores, respect curfews, remain substance-free, and contribute to a safe and supportive living environment.

  • Proof of treatment completion or confirmation that treatment is nearing completion

  • Referral letters or supporting documents, if available
  • Information about income, benefits, employment, or other payment support

After submission, expect a response within 10 business days. You may be invited for an interview to discuss your goals and readiness for the program.
